Childhood’s Gate Garden at Penn State

Bridging play, art, and science, Childhood’s Gate Garden celebrates Pennsylvania’s diverse landscape. The garden highlights the region’s unique geology and its relationship to the flora, fauna, and geography of the Ridge and Valley province. Authenticity of place has informed every aspect of the project, including design, materials selection, horticulture, and public programming.
